This steel produces a protective copper-iron oxide coating that makes the fireplaces rust resistant. This coating gives them a rust-coloured appearance as they age.

Yes, they can. We provide a chimney cap with an 8” hole in it that adapts to a standard 8” flue kit. We always recommend that you engage a licensed plumber for installation or consult a builder.
They can be painted any colour, but it must be done with a heat proof paint. Stove Bright has an excellent range of colours, with flat black being their most popular. If you intend on keeping it outside, you will need to touch it up from time to time. For this reason, the natural rust-coloured finish is the preferred option for most.
Yes, you can. If you need to leave the fireplace unattended, simply put the night door securely in place. This will prevent any sparks or embers from coming out of the fire and allow it to safely burn out.
The lead time is generally around 4 weeks, although we regularly have fireplaces in-stock, allowing us to satisfy demand immediately.
